About Toto
Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also famous studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs) and singer/bassist Bobby Kimball. The name of the group came from the Latin word that translates to "all-encompassing" and was determined to explore all styles of music.
In 1981, Toto's third album Turn Back was a complete failure, but they rebound with their fourth album Isolation which contains two hits, including the title track and Roseanna. The album and the tour made them a household brand around the world.
After a brief break, Toto returns with the album Fahrenheit. It's a change from the ballads that were featured on previous albums and includes some heavy rock. The album was their first to go platinum in North America.
In the course of recording the band's fifth album the band loses their manager and are faced with financial difficulties. They decide to change their name and create a new album with an entirely new producer. Joseph Williams, the son of John Williams, the legendary film composer and actress Barbara Ruick from 1950s, replaces Fergie Frederiksen as the lead vocalist. Joseph Williams is a natural frontman, and provides the band with a much-needed boost.
In 1999, the band release Mindfields and embarks on an extensive tour around the world. After a few weeks in Europe The band then travels to Japan for sold-out shows. After a short hiatus, Toto resumes their recording and releases their first live album, Absolutely Live in 1993. It also features a cover of Weezer's hit song Hash Pipe as a response to the band's coverage of Africa on their recent tour. Toto's touring band is rounded out by drummer Lenny Castro, bassist Shannon Forrest and keyboardist Shem von Schroeck.
Musicians
Toto is a rock group from America who achieved their greatest success in the 1980s. It was formed by session musicians with experience, the band has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
Toto was the first album released by the band in 1978. It was a huge success that brought the band to international fame. Since then, the group has released 14 albums that have all been hits.
Toto composed their first and sole film score in 1984 for the film Dune. This was a major undertaking that required the entire group to be involved. The album that was released, Kingdom of Desire, was another successful record. After a world tour drummer Bobby Kimball left the band and was replaced by drummer Fergie Frederiksen of Le Roux. The band continued to push forward with their fifth album, Isolation. The album featured a few songs, including "Stranger in Town".
After Isolation, Toto took a break from the spotlight and stepped back from the stage. This gave each member of the group the opportunity to pursue their own solo projects. In 1996, the group reformed to tour and record an album. This was the first time all original members were on stage together for more than a decade.

The following year, Toto toured with Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. This was the last time that all of Toto's original members were together on stage at the same time. The group broke up following this. Toto came back together for a benefit concert in 2010 to raise money for the ALS Foundation. This was the first time that all the original Toto members had been on stage together in over 31 years. In addition to the original members keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.
토지노 사이트 is among the most popular bands in rock music. They have had megahits such as "Rosanna," Hold The Line," and "Africa," which has been certified as platinum 8X. With a wide range of influences, from progressive rock to world rhythms to soul and jazz The group continues to delight fans with their energetic arena rock.
The band experienced several setbacks during their later times, despite their fame. In 2002 the drummer Greg Phillinganes left the group, and keyboardist David Paich took a leave of absence due to health issues. Shem von Schröeck was brought in to replace him, but the band wasn't the same without Paich or Phillinganes. In 2008, a string of lineup changes and a string of albums that were disappointing led Toto to call it quits for a period of time. The group returned to touring in 2012 following the release of their album 40 Trips Around the Sun.
The album marked a return to their best form, and the tour that came with it featured sold-out concerts in North America and Europe. Toto's reunion was helped by the inclusion of guitarist Steve Lukather and bassist Shem von Schroeck, who had both joined the group.
Toto's music is just the same today as it was back in the 1970s and 80s and getting new fans with each new generation. Their success has made Toto an everlasting fixture in pop culture. Their live shows are always packed with energy and excitement.
